雪かき〜removing snow

みやこから戻った8日の朝、広済寺は雪でした。
Coming back from Kyoto to my KOSAIJI temple,we had big snow storm all day long on Feb 8.

最初のうちは
At first,

「ああ、雪かぁ。風情があっていいなぁ」と
I was・・・

思っていたのですが・・・
very exciting and facinated by big snow.


この日は世話人さんとの昼食会。スタッフもあわせ10名が車でやってきます。雪が深いので7時から、雪かきをし、道を確保します。
具材を受け取りに車を出すも、簡単な坂道でも立ち往生しそうになるわ、ハンドルは取られるわ、大変なことになってしまいました。
But I changed my mind! The lunch time meeting with our staff was schduled on that day. We had to remove heavy snow to keep the space to walk or for entering cars. How difficult and dangerous for me to drive on snowy road. Heavy snow made it conditions very difficult.We cannot do that even moderate or short slope on the tyny hill.Some cars stopped and left on the road in Isehara and Hadano areas. It was very Isolated heavy snow!　Accompanied by strong winds,very powerful.

明けて9日。朝から雪かきです。
We had no space to drive or even walk,so that removed snow on Feb 9.






























昼過ぎからは気温が上がり、駐車場の雪が溶けてきました。

でもこのまま放置すれば、また鉄みたいに固くなってしまいます。

そこで・・・

車を。。。左に、右に、前に、後ろにとぐるぐる運転して

雪のかたまりをつぶし、溶かしていきます。

そう〜

田んぼの耕運機みたいに・・・。

きのうは雪風が運んできた笹の葉っぱの除去でした。しばらくはそうじに追われます。いまは通常業務です。〜どうげん
These days we set aside a time for cleaning up everywhere in Kosaiji temple. Now we are in the normal operation.〜Dohgen
