最後の読経会〜Starting Zazen in English

明日のにちよう坐禅会は、通常通り開催です。

読経会としては最後の朝。きょうも0人でした。(笑ww) 昨年のいま頃、僧籍に入るかを考えている方がいて、お経の基礎だけでもと思いはじめました。もし、僧籍に入らずとも、音感やリズムを養ったり、きもちが安定するので、実生活に役立ちます。実際には、一定の成果があったものと思っています。
願心はあるのです。ただ本堂の前に立ち、お経をよみ、祈るだけではいけない。じぶんがなにをどうしたいのか、自己をみつめる修練をさせていました。何に対して回向するのかを絵解きにして、清書し、iPadに取り込んでいたのも、去年の今頃でした。
しかしながら、0人ならばしかたがない。朝課は基本的に毎日やるものなので、読経の部分は、そちらに変えることにしました。3月からは、毎週土曜は外国人のための英語坐禅会になります。きょうは読経会の最後の日であり、英語坐禅会の0回め。終わりは、新しい始まりです。

Very welcome to my blog 'Obo San no chie bukuro' which means ' Living wisely with the Zen-like idea'. Spring is just around the corner. The KOUSAIJI Zazen session in English starts from 8:15 to 9:30 am on March 5th. It is taken place every Saturday morning. The class is for the tourlists,residents and their hosts in Japan. Experiencing to visit a small zen temple in the countryside or to concentrate to make zazen posture would send your senses lasting impression. None reservation required. Please be sure to gather by 8:15 every Saturday morning. 500 JPY admission fee including a zen style tea ceremony. I hope see you our temple there.
